Garden to Table Dinner Party

One of my nearest and dearest friends lives out of town and visits each year in July and December. Our friend group catches up over dinner and drinks every time she is “home”. This time, we decided to take advantage of all of the produce and herbs growing in each other’s gardens, choose our own menu, cook and assemble the dishes together and make a night of it at my home. It was easily one of my favorite dinners and I think you’ll understand why.

The weather turned out to be perfect for us and we sat out on the deck, listening to light jazz music while catching up and enjoying the precious time that we get to spend together, knowing that it feeds our souls and is never enough.
